We publish the data before you buy, not after you ask

Every batch goes to an independent analytical laboratory. We do not self-certify. The chromatogram, the mass spectrum and the water content are on the product page before an order is possible.

What we test

Four assays on every batch

Purity tells you the material is clean. Identity tells you it's the right molecule. Water and peptide content tell you how much of it you actually have. You need all four.

RP-HPLC purity

C18 column, 0.1% TFA mobile phase, detection at 214 nm where the peptide bond absorbs. We publish the chromatogram, not just the integrated number — so you can see whether that 1% is one impurity or twenty.

Identity confirmed

ESI mass spectrometry

Electrospray ionisation with charge-envelope deconvolution. Observed mass is compared against theoretical; the spectrum goes on the certificate so you can check for deletion sequences and oxidation products yourself.

Water content stated

Karl Fischer titration

Lyophilized peptides are hygroscopic. A vial labelled 10 mg that is 12% water contains 8.8 mg of peptide — which quietly wrecks your concentrations. We measure it and state it.

Net peptide content

Purity and content are different numbers. A TFA salt of a lysine-rich peptide can be a quarter counter-ion by mass. We report both so your dilutions start from the right figure.

Verify us independently — we'll help

Send a sample to whichever laboratory you trust. Tell us which one and we'll share our exact method parameters so the comparison is like-for-like rather than an argument about gradients.

If an independent result materially contradicts our certificate, we refund the order in full, withdraw the batch, and notify everyone who received it. We keep retained samples of every lot specifically so that process is possible.
