Peptide reconstitution calculator
Work out the concentration of a reconstituted vial and the exact volume to draw. Pure laboratory arithmetic — no accounts, nothing stored.

How it works
- 1
Enter the vial mass
The amount of peptide in the vial, printed on the label and the certificate of analysis — e.g. 10 mg.
- 2
Enter the diluent volume
How much bacteriostatic water you add to reconstitute. More water = a more dilute solution and finer graduations.
- 3
Read the draw volume
The calculator returns the concentration and the mark to draw to on a standard U-100 insulin syringe (100 units = 1 mL).
The formula
concentration (mcg/mL) = vial mass (mg) × 1000 ÷ water (mL)
draw volume (mL) = target (mcg) ÷ concentration (mcg/mL)
insulin units = draw volume (mL) × 100
Reading an insulin syringe
A U-100 syringe holds 100 units per millilitre. So 50 units is 0.5 mL and 20 units is 0.2 mL. If a draw comes out above 100 units, reconstitute with more water so the volume fits the syringe.
